Advanced Robotic, Invasive Endoscopic Surgery Center (ARIES) is a setting where robotic arms, 3D imaging methods and endoscopes fitted with lighting and cameras are utilized to perform the most complex surgeries and interventions within the natural cavities of the body by making only quite small incisions or no incision at all.
Our national and international instructors perform robotic, laparoscopic, thoracoscopic and endoscopic invasive surgeries and interventions as part of the center. Currently, surgical treatment of benign and malignant intraabdominal diseases is carried out by the departments of general surgery, gastroenterology, urology and gynecology.
With advances in screening and imaging (USG, CT, MRI), many diseases—especially cancers—can be detected earlier. Similar to leading international centers, ARIES prioritizes minimally invasive methods (endoscopy, laparoscopy, robotic surgery) over conventional procedures whenever appropriate.
